At Street Head Caravan Park we have pitches for privately owned static caravans, seasonal and touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and everything in between.

We endeavour to ensure all areas of our park are clean, tidy and maintained to a high standard.

We were so happy to open our new facilities block in Spring 2021 and we are happy to say that our guests have given very positive feedback on both the new location and standard of the facilities provided.

Facilities Block

All of our caravan & camping sites include full use of our facilities block.

Shower Block

We have separate rooms for gents and ladies. The new shower cubicles are spacious and have a drying area with seat to make changing easier. As well as toilets and wash basins, you will find soap, hand dryers, hair dryers and large mirrors provided for your convenience.

Washing-up Room

Our indoor washing up room has 3 sinks, with washing up liquid provided. To make the job a little more pleasant, the large windows offer views across Bishopdale. Here you will also find our tourist information area, a fridge and freezer, books and some activities such and jigsaws, playing cards, colouring books and crayons to use during your stay.

Laundry Room

As well as a large capacity washing machine and tumble dryer, we provide washing powder too, that's one less thing to pack. The laundry room has tourist information, books, magazines and a chair to relax in while waiting for your washing to finish. These machines are coin operated and change is available at the reception nearby.

Other Useful Information

Electric Hook Ups:

The fully serviced pitches have 16 amp EHU included. All other pitches have access to 10 amp EHU, this can be requested at time of booking or any time before or during your stay.

Arrival and Departure Times:

You are welcome to arrive any time after 1.30pm

Departure is before 12 noon

At quiet times we may be able to relax these times, please contact us the day before to check availability and if there are any costs.

Pets:

We welcome pets to our site and have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful breeds over the years. Please do not be offended if we remember your pet's name and not yours! While most pets visiting are dogs, we ask that all are under control and taken off site for toileting and cleaned up after immediately (extra bags are available at reception if you run out). We ask that dogs be on a lead at all times while on site. Please take care when walking in the local area, especially when passing through fields with farm animals.

Calor Gas and Campingaz:

We are stockists for Calor and Campingaz and hold most bottle sizes in our secure compound on site.

Fire Pits and BBQ’s:

For many this is all part of the camping experience and we wholeheartedly agree. Heat from fire pits, BBQ's and hot pans can burn and kill off the grass. Please help us to keep the pitches looking nice for all of our guests by using the flags and blocks provided underneath your appliance or pans.

Noise:

We try to run a happy campsite where everyone can enjoy themselves. Please help us by playing music at a level you can enjoy but will not disturb your neighbours. Quiet time is between 10.30pm and 8am and during these hours we ask for no unavoidable noise. Please let us know immediately should there any disturbances as issues can be quickly resolved at the time. It's very difficult the next day but impossible a week later when we learn of it in a review.

Dry Stone Walls:

Along one side of the park we are separated from our neighbours by a dry stone wall. These can be delicate so for your own safety and our sanity, please refrain from removing stones or climbing on or over them.
